About Us:

In early 2018 a few coaches had a goal to create/add a travel softball opportunity to an already impressive rec softball and travel/rec baseball program in Southern Frederick county (through the Urbana Recreation Council). After  numerous meetings and discussions the Urbana Rippers organization was born. It grew from a small, single team organization to what it is today, hosting 5 competitive teams in multiple age brackets. Since it's inception our teams have won, been finalists or semi-finalists in 20+ USA and USSSA tournaments throughout the mid-Atlantic region. 

As an organization we try to provide a learning environment for our younger players, evolving to recruiting assistance for our older players.
